Delicious food, the salmon papilotte and the dish of the day with deer steak. Only the wine is definitely not okay. First ordered a glass of pinot grigio and then a glass of sauvignon blanc. The first glass tasted like water. I thought, OK, bad wine, but the second glass also tasted like water. Actually, there was no noticeable difference between the Pinot Grigio and the Sauvignon Blanc. There was only one similarity, the glass consisted of at least a third of water. The smell wasn't right either. I don't want to say whether this is the fault of the winegrower or the restaurant, but as a wine connoisseur I still feel slightly cheated.

We like to come here when we are in Spakenburg. Delicious food, friendly service and beautifully decorated restaurant.

Nice place, excellent service, great food. We had Warm Vlees (12,95 Euro) and Royale vis salade (20,95 Euro, rather in the high side) for lunch.

The Spakenburg walk started with a delicious cappuccino and real Spakenburg cake. Nicely located on a pleasant square, which was increasingly busy this day. Friendly service and a good start to the day.
